About Haruko Ichikawa
Haruko Ichikawa is a Japanese manga author who appeared in the Pokémon Trading Card Game as a guest illustrator, drawing the Diancie card in the Crown Zenith Galarian Gallery subset (2023), her only TCG artwork. The commission suited her: Diancie is the Jewel Pokémon, and Ichikawa is best known for Land of the Lustrous (Houseki no Kuni), a manga about sentient gemstones serialized in Kodansha's Monthly Afternoon from 2012 to 2024 and adapted into a 2017 anime. She debuted around 2006 with early one-shots later collected as Mushi to Uta.
