About Hiroyuki Yamamoto

Hiroyuki Yamamoto is a Japanese illustrator and character designer, known in the Pokémon TCG for a Pikachu AR card and for building his card art from the games' official 3D models using photobashing and rendering techniques. He began contributing cards during the Sun & Moon era. Away from the TCG, Yamamoto served as sole character designer and artist for the mobile puzzle game Pokémon Café Mix; after years at advertising, printing, and game companies, he went independent in 2012, also handling game art direction and manga.

Their most valuable card is Pikachu (#173/165, 151), estimated at $70–$95. Cards are ordered by estimated market value.
