About Kagemaru Himeno
Kagemaru Himeno is one of the Pokémon Trading Card Game's most prolific and enduring illustrators, with work appearing on cards since the Jungle expansion and roughly 635 cards to her name. A writer and illustrator, she began drawing Pokémon manga for RIBON Original in 1994, before the card game existed, and later produced entries in the Pokémon Tales series. Her soft, watercolor style, marked by bright colors, white flecks, and increasingly detailed backgrounds, is widely recognizable; fans nickname her Himemaru.
Their most valuable card is Dragonite (#9/165, Expedition Base Set), estimated at $700–$900. Cards are ordered by estimated market value.
