About Koji Nakata
Koji Nakata is a Japanese illustrator who made his Pokémon TCG debut with Sandygast in the 2024 Surging Sparks expansion, later adding Pikipek and Drilbur cards. He works chiefly by hand, finishing acrylic paintings on canvas, and his practice extends well beyond Pokémon: children's picture books, magazine illustration for titles such as Osaka-jin, and calendar art for clients including Hitachi and ENEOS. His storybook work earned a commendation in the Buddhist Propagation Society's Heart Picture Books award.
Their most valuable card is Drilbur (#124/86, Black Bolt), estimated at $7–$9. Cards are ordered by estimated market value.
