About nagano
nagano is the pen name of the Japanese manga artist and illustrator best known for creating Chiikawa, a comic serialized on Twitter from 2020 that had sold over 2.7 million copies by December 2023. Within the Pokémon Trading Card Game, nagano contributed a single guest illustration: the alternate-art Simisear VSTAR in the 2023 Crown Zenith set's Galarian Gallery subset (GG37). Earlier ties to the franchise include a 2018 LINE sticker set and 2019 Pokémon Center merchandise; nagano also created the character Self-Tsukkomi Bear.
