About okayamatakatoshi

okayamatakatoshi is a Japanese illustrator who entered Pokémon through TCG Pocket, where his first card was the Promo-A Snorlax, making him the first Pocket artist from outside PLANETA who had not previously drawn for the physical game. He reached the quarterfinals of the Pokémon Trading Card Game Illustration Contest 2022 with a Scizor piece, then made his physical debut on the Scolipede line in Black Bolt. A Kyoto Seika University graduate, he also creates picture books and editorial illustration, drawing digitally with a hand-painted look.

Their most valuable card is Klang (#140/86, Black Bolt), estimated at $6–$8. Cards are ordered by estimated market value.
