About sadaji
sadaji is a Pokémon TCG illustrator best known for gold, etched Secret-rare Item cards, having debuted in the 2019 Unbroken Bonds expansion and gone on to illustrate roughly two dozen cards, mostly Trainer and Item artwork with a handful of Pokémon-GX and Pokémon V. By their own account they had no formal art schooling: after a self-study period preparing for the Tokyo University of the Arts entrance exam, they became a freelance illustrator. Beyond Pokémon they take corporate PR work and teach illustration seminars abroad.
