About Taiga Kasai
Taiga Kasai is a Japanese illustrator whose Pokémon TCG career began after his Greninja artwork placed as a runner-up in the Pokémon Trading Card Game Illustration Contest 2022, later printed as a Sword & Shield Black Star Promo. He has since illustrated around two dozen cards. Kasai first took up drawing as a child after being impressed by a Pokémon picture drawn by his artist father, and studied at art school. He works mainly on an iPad Pro, finishing pieces in Photoshop.
